Our Story

So where do we start? We’ve had our studio doors open for over 20 years, working from a beautiful 18th Century barn conversion in the heart of Baldock, Hertfordshire, we’ve certainly seen a lot of things come and go over time.

None more so than the arrival of the world wide web umpteen years ago, some said that it would just be a flash in a pan and never take off but it has single handedly changed the world. So 10 years ago we made a conscious decision to provide a web design service to our clients, to be the conduit between them and their customers that would see them embrace this new media.

Before we took the digital plunge we employed a fantastic bunch of people, and some of those people are still here today; Creatives, Artworkers and Account Managers whose expertise and knowledge has helped create many a successful brand identity or advertising campaign. We decided at that point we needed to recruit the best developers, the geekiest of geeks that we could find, the people who live and breathe this stuff to ensure that we were only ever going to offer the very best, comprehensive and clear advice to our clients, and since employing those initial key staff back in the day, we have never looked back.

We’re lucky enough to be in a position where we work with some brilliant clients, who value what we do and who see working with us both in time and financially as a long term investment, and not as a cost. We know and understand that our clients need to see ROI in everything we do and that’s why we have built some solid working relationships.

So to finish off we can proudly boast that we still hold the very best people at Zone1Media, they’re a wonderful bunch and are fundamentally the heartbeat of this company, and these people will carry on writing our story…
